yes, it is from old Japanese magazine keito dama(?), 1995, if I am not mistaken. I finished the sweater by the New Year. It was challenging, but really fun to make.

I LOVE this sweater. Can you give more information about the book you found the pattern in. I did a google search on keito dama and came up with tons of hits, but nothing from 1995.
